For 22 years, Battants organisation has been welcoming the biggest champions of the national and international sports: Zinedine Zidane, Yannick Noah, Michel Platini, Bjorn Borg, Mats Wilander, Marina Anissina & Gwendal Peizerat, Surya Bonaly, Brian Joubert, Guy Forget, John Mac Enroe, France 98, l’OM… Today, the Organisation is entering the Triathlon adventure.
Enriched by the last two succesful years with La voie verte Rotarienne (with over 2000 participants) Sommières, which is ideally situated between Nîmes and Montpellier is considered as an excellent “play” ground.
Swimming: a 1.9 km lap in the Vidourle River from the sommières arena.
The 90 km cycling route (2 loaps of 45 kms with 340 m height difference) has been established by the 25 ironman Chris Berrus.
A wonderful scenery of the Pic saint loup with more than 50 kms of the Tour de France routes.
Running (departure and arrival in the arena) will permit you to discover the famous Voie Verte and will allow the spectators to support their favourite athletes (height difference of 64 m)
